Possible cause is that you have previously installed the program using another account that created files read-only to the current user.

Do NOT uninstall your original TriMPF system for installing a newer version. Make sure you are installing the new TriMPF to the same folder as previously installed. TriMPF will overwrite the outdated files itself.
